At Still I Run, we believe that movement can be a powerful tool for mental well-being. Sometimes, taking that first step simply means feeling comfortable enough to show up as you are. That’s one of the many reasons we’re so grateful to partner with Senita, a brand committed to making high-quality activewear more accessible to everyone.
Our partnership with Senita supports participants in the Mental Health Runner Program, helping reduce barriers so more people can experience the connection between movement and mental well-being. Like Still I Run, Senita believes that everyone deserves access to resources that help them feel stronger, more confident, and supported.
Because when people feel good in what they’re wearing, they’re often more likely to take that first step forward.
And forward is a pace.
Built on a Mission of Accessibility

Senita was originally founded in 2015 by sisters Jenna and Maddie, who recognized a gap in the activewear market. They saw that many brands offered quality apparel, but often at price points that made it harder for everyday people to access.
Their goal was simple but powerful: create high-quality fitness apparel that felt both accessible and affordable.
After selling the company in 2020, the sisters had the opportunity to buy Senita back in 2024 and officially relaunch the brand in March of 2025. Today, Senita operates as a smaller, close-knit team with a strong sense of purpose and community.
While the team may be smaller than before, their commitment to quality has never changed. The same thoughtfully designed products that customers have loved for years continue to reflect the brand’s belief that everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their movement.
That focus on accessibility is one of the reasons Senita felt aligned with Still I Run’s Mental Health Runner Program, which provides free resources, including running shoes, educational tools, and support, to individuals working to improve their mental well-being through movement.
Both organizations share a belief that cost should not be a barrier to care.
Confidence Can Start with Something Small

One of the themes the Senita team hears often from customers is the connection between what someone wears and how they feel when they move.
High-quality fitness apparel may seem like a small detail, but for many people, it can help build confidence and reduce one of the many barriers that can make starting something new feel intimidating.
The Senita team frequently hears stories from customers who say putting on an outfit they feel good in helps shift their mindset. That small boost of confidence can make it easier to get out the door, try something new, or keep showing up.
That feeling of confidence is especially meaningful for individuals who may already be navigating mental health challenges. Starting a running or movement routine can feel vulnerable, and supportive tools — whether that’s a welcoming community, a structured program, or comfortable apparel — can make a difference.
Through this partnership, Senita is helping Mental Health Runner Program participants feel prepared, supported, and confident as they take steps forward in their mental health journeys.
A Small Team with a Big Heart

Today, Senita operates with a smaller, more family-oriented team environment that allows for meaningful relationships and intentional decision-making.
Ashley shared that one of the things she enjoys most about working at Senita is the ability to collaborate closely with a tight-knit team and support initiatives that truly matter to them.
Shelby also appreciates being part of a smaller organization, especially one led by women. After experiencing larger corporate environments, she values the opportunity to work somewhere relationships are prioritized and team members genuinely care about one another.
That sense of connection extends beyond their internal culture and into the partnerships they choose to pursue.
Senita does not typically engage in large partnerships, but the opportunity to support Still I Run felt deeply aligned with the values of the team. Mental health is a cause that resonates personally with many members of the organization, making this collaboration especially meaningful.
Supporting Movement for Mental Well-Being

At its core, this partnership is about helping people feel supported as they begin or continue their movement journey.
Still I Run’s Mental Health Runner Program is designed to remove barriers and create a welcoming path for individuals who want to use running as a tool for mental well-being. Participants receive guidance, structure, and encouragement through the 12-week program, along with resources that help them feel prepared and confident.
Having access to quality apparel is one small but meaningful piece of that experience.
When individuals feel comfortable in what they’re wearing, they may feel more willing to show up — whether that means stepping outside for a walk, attending a group run, or simply committing to trying something new.
That sense of comfort and confidence can support consistency, and consistency can support mental well-being.
Through this partnership, Senita is helping make movement feel more accessible, more welcoming, and more possible for individuals who may otherwise feel unsure about where to begin.
Moving Forward Together
Still I Run exists to open movement as a pathway to mental well-being and to remind people they do not have to move alone.
Partners like Senita help make that mission possible by supporting access and helping reduce barriers that can prevent people from getting started.
We are grateful for Senita’s commitment to accessibility, confidence, and community, and we are proud to partner with a team that understands how meaningful small steps can be.
Because every step forward matters.
And every runner deserves to feel supported along the way.
