Running saved my life. No. Really. I was on the sofa thinking about the end when I saw a high school friend’s social media post. “Call me crazy, but this running is getting to be fun!” Um. Nope. I was certain she’d gone over the edge. But I paid attention. Fast forward a season and I too was running. More importantly, I wanted to live. Running was the secret ingredient. Adding it to the mix of meds and therapy brought balance. When I heard about Still I Run: Runners for Mental Health Awareness, I had to help. Being on the board and editing the blog allows me to give back to this amazing community that gives so much to me and many others.
